The Prairie gown is an off white, off the shoulder floor length gown with long bishop sleeves, with bohemian ruffle trim at the neckline, the hipline, and the cuff. Each of the ruffles is embellished with vintage Swiss velvet ribbon. The fabrication is a mix of matte stretch charmeuse, and Italian cotton lace crochet overlay.
Kate & Stellas coordinating ensembles were commissioned for an autumnal family portrait. Kates gown is a full length cream gauze with a ruffle hem maxi skirt, and flutter sleeves. The neckline has a drawstring tie, and a looped button placket, to meet her request for a dress she could nurse in with ease. For Stella, I made a dress with arms eye ruffles to reflect the details in Kates gown, as well as a pair of cotton drawstring shorts to wear underneath, also with lace trim. As Stella grows, this ensemble will grow will her, and go from a dress, to a top with shorts. I used vintage lace from my collection as an appliqué on the bodice of both dresses, as well as pearlised ivory buttons.

The Darling Dress
The Darling Dress has is a lace bodice with a deep v-neckline in the front and back, long (or short) sleeve, over a sweetheart neckline underneath. It is shown here in champagne hues of petal motif lace, with a short skirt with floating lace appliqué over tulle.
The Talulah gown skirt is a floor length chiffon skirt with a wrapped front creating a long slit on the side front. As with many of the designs in my collection, The Talulah gown skirt is worn over the dress, to create a versatile bridal ensemble that can be a gown for the ceremony, and a cocktail dress for the reception.
The Darling Dress, and the Talulah skirt are the first samples from my Spring 2018 collection of bridal separates, that are available for custom order, designed to mix and match.

Michelle wed at the edge of the waterfall at the Ledges Hotel, in the fall. We began with a mood board featuring flowing etherial backless gowns. During her consultation sessions she chose silk chiffon, cotton floral rose lace, and a plum sash accent. The result is a luxurious breezy silk gown that echoed the nature surrounding her.
This backless trumpeted sheath with fluttering sleeves features genuine pearl buttons, pockets, and hundreds of hand appliquéd lace petals. Customized accessories I designed and created for her included organic jersey intimates, a plum floral crown, and a veiled comb.
Chelsea wed at a lakeside family home in the summer. She loved couture designs, envisioning an exquisite sparkling champagne lace mermaid gown. During her consultation sessions I sketched a gown including each of the details she described, and she chose two cream laces to be layered, and a champaign charmeuse stretch satin.
This backless fitted mermaid sheath culminates in a dramatic flared train (with bustle option.) The scalloped lace embellished décolletage, sleeve, shoulder cap, and back hand appliqué'd with swarovski crystals and genuine pearls.
Jessica wed in a rustic barn ceremony in the spring. Her first request was to incorporate a family heirloom into her gown; a handmade lace veil that was over 100 years old, and had been worn by many generations of women in her family. She completed her vision with two inspiration photos, one of a vintage gown with a gold leather sash, and another of a floor length chiffon skirt with a side slit revealing a lace trimmed lining. During her consultation process she chose ivory satin to match the heirloom lace, and I sketched a gown including all of the details she mentioned.
I cleaned, repaired, and harvested the heirloom lace and pearl beads from the veil, and used it in creating the halter top bodice. This gown also has a long chiffon skirt, wrap around champaign leather sash, additional vintage lace from my private collection, and pockets. I also created her accessories, a veil and her floral crown, with the same pearls, chiffon, tulle, lace, and leather that I used in making the gown.
